  • ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    Applicants should possess the following:

    A. Bachelor's degree

    1. CGPA of at least 2.75 / 4.00; or

    2. CGPA between 2.50 - 2.74 with the following additional conditions: or

    a) Research experience for at least one year; or
    b) Work experience in related field for at least one year; or
    c) At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
    d) Grade B for major / elective courses; or
    e) Grade B+ for final year project

    3. CGPA between 2.00 - 2.49 (Bachelor's Degree with Honours) with the following additional conditions: or

    a) Research experience for at least five (5) years; or
    b) Work experience in related field for at least five (5) years; AND
    c) At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
    d) Grade B for major / elective courses; or
    e) Grade B+ for final year project

  • LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum score of 35 in Internet-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); or
    • A minimum of Band 5 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System); or

  • OVERVIEW

    Master of Science (Sports Science) Research mode aims to produce graduates who are competent, skilled, ethical and professional in order to strengthen and to introduce the field of sports science to meet the needs of the country of skilled manpower in this field.

    Aims/objectives

    1. To provide opportunities for graduates from a variety of related fields to pursue the Master of Science (Sports Science)degree level.
    2. To support the production of human resources trained in health care Management.
    3. To improve the skills and competence of the Master of Science (Sports Science) through training at a higher level.

    At the end of the programme we hope that the students are capable to conduct research in critical and creative current problem solving. The research also studies apply communication skills, working in the group and be able to show the ethical and professional. Furthermore, lifelong learning can be applied to improve services in the field of study chosen in order to practice the skills of management and entrepreneurship in line with the leadership skills in the field of study.

  • OVERVIEW

    Master of Science (Biomedicine) Mixed Mode Programme supports Malaysia’s aspiration to produce more fresh biomedical scientists with advanced knowledge, research acumen and innovative capabilities to meet the demand of the health industries. The programme also offers opportunities for scientist to synergistically elevate their academic qualification, skills and proficiency levels in biomedicine. Essentially, this programme serves as a platform for candidates to pursue PhD in biomedicine.

    Based on our fields of expertise and inputs from key stakeholders, this programme is designed to offer advanced courses in cell biology, pharmacotoxicology and infection diseases. In addition, candidates will be guided to acquire critical thinking skills, good ethical practices and high professionalism in biomedical research.

  • OVERVIEW

    The Master of Science in Nutrition program is designed to train students to expand their knowledge and research competencies in solving issues related to food, nutrition and health at the local and global levels.

    At the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate knowledge of food and nutrition problems and creatively highlight and suggest possible solutions. Students should also be able to design appropriate research, conduct field work or lab experiments, analyze, synthesize relevant data and come up with innovative ideas in discussing their findings. The program will also prepare students with adequate research skills to communicate through reports writing, oral presentation, information gathering and dissemination with high technical quality.

    The Master of Science in Nutrition has produced many local and international postgraduate students who now has been succesfull in their respective carrier.

  • OVERVIEW

    The Nursing program provides a rich environment for postgraduate students with staff from a range of professional and disciplinary backgrounds including Stroke management, Wound management, Peri-operative care, Oncology, Obstetric & Gynecology, Neurology, Continence, Psychiatry, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Neonatology & etc. that is relevant to the needs of healthcare professionals and nurses' career progression.

    The master's by research degree equips students with a critical application of specialist knowledge and enables the development of advanced skills in carrying out sustainable and independent research.

    We aims to prepare scholars who will discover and extend scientific knowledge that advances the science and practice of nursing with the purposes to improve the quality of services and outcomes for patients and their families through studies concerned with individual clinical needs, how knowledge is translated into practice, service delivery, organization and the wider social and policy context of care.
