  • OVERVIEW

    This program is designed to develop students who are well-informed, resilient, empathetic, and capable of understanding and addressing current societal issues.
    This programme comprises of four MAJOR:
    (1) Anthropology and Sociology
    (2) Development Studies
    (3) Economics
    (4) Political Science

    Examination : Bahasa Malaysia
    Semester Offered : Semester 1 (October)

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • • Pass SPM/SPMV or an equivalent qualification with Credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Malaysia (July Paper) and a Pass in History.
      • Obtain at least Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or an equivalent qualification within one (1) year from the date of enrollment.
      Note:
      Passing the History subject at the SPM level has been a requirement since 2013.
    • • Pass the university qualification examination and excel in the interview assessment.
      i) STP/HSC Candidates
      • Pass STP/HSC with at least one (1) Principal and two (2) Subsidiary passes, and a Pass in General Paper.
      • Have at least three (3) years of work experience in a related field.
      OR
      ii) STPM Candidates (2002 or earlier)
      • Pass STPM or an equivalent qualification with at least two (2) Grade Es and a Pass in General Paper, or at least one (1) Grade E and two (2) Grade Rs and a Pass in General Paper.
      OR
      iii) STPM Candidates (from 2003 onwards)
      • Pass STPM or an equivalent qualification with at least three (3) Grade Cs, including General Studies.
      • Have at least three (3) years of work experience in a related field.
      OR
      iv) Diploma Candidates
      • Hold a Diploma from a public higher education institution or other recognized institutions.
      OR
      v) SPM Candidates
      • Pass SPM/SPMV or an equivalent qualification with Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia.
      • Have at least five (5) years of work experience in a related field.
