  • OVERVIEW

    The Program of Bachelor of Education (Physics) with Honours aims to produce professional, dedicated, and innovative Physics educators. This program emphasizes mastery of both theoretical knowledge and integrated practices in Physics teaching, enabling graduates to become competent Physics teachers up to the Form Six level. Additionally, it provides a strong foundation for students to understand the holistic processes of teaching and learning Physics, including the integration of technology and contemporary teaching methods.

    Duration : 4 Years / 8 Semesters
    Medium Instruction : Malay & English Language
    Semester Offered : Semester 1 (October)

  • REQUIREMENTS

      • Passed SPM / SPMV / or equivalent with CREDIT in the subjects of Malay Language / Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Malaysia July and passed the subject of History.
      • Achieved at least Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent within one (1) year from the date of registration.

      Note:

      Passing the History subject at the SPM level is effective starting from the year 2013.
    • KELAYAKAN MINIMUM STPMKELAYAKAN MINIMUM MATRIKULASI KPM / ASASI UM / ASASI UKM / ASASI UITMDIPLOMA / A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT,SAM & OTHERS
      KELAYAKAN MINIMUM STPM:

      i. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.

      AND

      ii. Obtain at least Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in any two (2) of the following subjects:
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • Mathematics T

      AND

      iii. Pass Mathematics at SPM level.

      AND

      iv. Obtain at least Band 4.0 in MUET or an equivalent qualification.

      AND

      v. Pass the MEDSI test and excel in the interview assessment.

      AND

      vi. Has experience as a state or national athlete who has been actively participating for at least three (3) years

      Trained teachers are not eligible to apply for this program.
      KELAYAKAN MINIMUM MATRIKULASI KPM / ASASI UM / ASASI UKM / ASASI UITM:

      i. Pass the KPM Matriculation / UM Foundation / UKM Foundation / UiTM Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.

      AND

      ii. Obtain at least Grade B (3.00) in any two (2) of the following subjects:
      • Mathematics
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
      • Computer Science / Programming / Computing

      AND

      iii. Pass Mathematics at the SPM level.

      AND

      iv. Obtain at least Band 4.0 in MUET or an equivalent qualification.

      AND

      v. Pass the MEDSI test and excel in the interview assessment.

      AND

      vi. Has experience as a state or national athlete who has been actively participating for at least three (3) years

      Trained teachers are not eligible to apply for this programme.
      DIPLOMA / A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT,SAM & OTHERS:

      Possess a Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00

      AND

      Obtain at least a Grade B (CGPA 3.00) at the DIPLOMA level in the relevant subject applied for (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology)

      OR

      Hold other qualifications recognized as equivalent and endorsed by the University Senate.

      AND

      Pass Mathematics at the SPM level.

      AND

      Achieve at least Band 4.0 in MUET or an equivalent qualification.

      AND

      Pass the MEDSI test and excel in the interview assessment.

      AND

      Has experience as a state or national athlete who has been actively participating for at least three (3) years.


      Trained teachers are not eligible to apply for this programme.
