  • PENGENALAN

    The INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY program emphasizes on the use of fundamental chemistry such as physical, organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry within industrial applications . This program aims to improve practical skills and analytical skills relevant to industrial processes. The program specializes in materials, operational units, industrial chemistry, safety issues and chemical processing. It also provides connections for pathways to other science-based fields.

    Duration : 4 Years / 8 Semesters (Minimum)
                      7 Years / 14 Semesters (Maximum)
    Medium Instruction : English Language
    Semester Offered : Semester 1 (October)

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • Pass SPM/SPMV or an equivalent qualification with Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Malaysia (July Paper) and a Pass in History.
      • Obtain at least Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or an equivalent qualification within one (1) year from the date of enrollment.
      Note:
      Passing the History subject at the SPM level has been a requirement since 2013.
    • STPM / Equivalent Candidates
      • Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) examination with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
      • Obtain at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in the following subjects:
      - General Studies
      - Physics
      - Mathematics T / Further Mathematics
      - Chemistry
      OR
      • Obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.00 at the Pre-University level.
      AND
      • Have at least three (3) years of experience as an active state or national athlete.

      • Kursus pertengahan dalam Kimia Organik, Kimia Tak Organik, Kimia Fizik dan Kimia Analisis. Pengenalan kepada Kimia Bahan.
      • Kimia Polimer, Operasi Unit dan kursus makmal industri berkaitan. Pengenalan kepada Metodologi Penyelidikan dan Projek Kimia.
      • Kursus kimia industri gunaan terpilih. Latihan Industri adalah wajib pada semester terakhir.
