OVERVIEW
Bachelor of Computer Science (Intelligent Computing) with Honours programme encompasses various aspects of Intelligent Computing as a discipline. The programme covers theoretical and scientific foundations as well as various extensive applications in various domains. The curriculum of the programme emphasizes problem-based learning concepts in particular through practical/project/training-based courses that are integrated throughout the years as well as inculcates research orientation to the students.

REQUIREMENTS

STPM KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others STPM:i. Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) Examination with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
AND
ii. Obtain at least Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in the following subjects:- Biology / Physics / Chemistry
- Mathematics T / Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
AND
iii. Obtain at least Grade C in Additional Mathematics at the SPM level.
KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM):i. Pass Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
AND
ii. Obtain at least a Grade B (3.00) in the following subjects:
• Mathematics
• Physics / Engineering Physics / Chemistry / Engineering Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Programming / Computing / Database / Digital TechnologyAND
iii. Obtain at least a Grade C in Additional Mathematics at the SPM level.
Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others:Possess a Diploma in computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
OR
Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) / Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) / Advanced Malaysian Skills Diploma (DLKM) in computing with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
OR
Pass A-Level with a minimum score of 10 and obtain at least Grade B in any three (3) of the following subjects:- Physics
- Computing
- Chemistry / Biology
- Mathematics / Further Mathematics
OR
Pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 28 and obtain at least a score of 5 at the High Level (HL) in any two (2) of the following subjects:- English
- Physics
- Chemistry / Biology
AND
Obtain at least a score of 5 at the Standard Level (SL) in one (1) of the following subjects:- Mathematics
OR
Pass AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate of 68 and obtain at least Grade B in any three (3) of the following subjects:- English

OR
Possess other qualifications recognised as equivalent and approved by the University Senate.

LIST OF COURSE

Basics of Computer Science such as algorithms and problem solving, programming techniques using a high-level language, data structures, computer organisation and a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, logic, artificial intelligence and data analytics.

Operating systems, computer networks and security, analysis of algorithms, database organisation, and foundations of software engineering. Practical and project-based courses namely integrated software development, and group innovation project and study for sustainability are also offered.

Year III offer an integrated and a wide range of specialise courses according to the field chosen. Students will be able to enrich their specialization with electives and additional knowledge via free modules or minor courses from discipline outside computer science. During the second semester and the long vacation of the third-year students will be assigned to various organisations for a full-time industrial training for a period of six months.

Students will be finishing specialization, elective courses and to undertake a course on professional and technopreneurs development. Students are also required to complete their Final Year project according to the field chosen under the supervision of at least one academic staff
