  • OVERVIEW

    The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Physics program focuses on the application of physics in the medical field, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes radiation physics, radiation biology, medical imaging technology, as well as fundamental modules in physics and mathematics.

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • KELAYAKAN MINIMUM STPMKELAYAKAN MINIMUM MATRIKULASI KPM / ASASI UM / ASASI UKM / ASASI UITMKELAYAKAN MINIMUM DIPLOMA / SETARAF – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM DAN LAIN-LAIN
      KELAYAKAN MINIMUM STPM:

      i. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.

      AND

      ii. Achieved at least a Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Mathematics T

      AND

      iii. Achieved at least a Grade C at the SPM level in the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Additional Mathematics
      KELAYAKAN MINIMUM MATRIKULASI KPM / ASASI UM / ASASI UKM / ASASI UITM:

      i. Passed Matriculation (KPM) / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with at least a CGPA of 2.75.

      AND

      ii. Obtained at least a Grade B (3.00) in the following subjects:

      • Physics / Engineering Physics
      • Mathematics
      • Biology / Chemistry / Computer Science / Programming / Computing / Engineering Chemistry / Basic Engineering / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

      AND

      iii. Obtained at least a Grade C in SPM for the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Additional Mathematics
      KELAYAKAN MINIMUM DIPLOMA / SETARAF – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM DAN LAIN-LAIN:

      Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.

      OR

      A-Level with a minimum score of 10 and obtained at least a Grade B in the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Mathematics 

      OR

      International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 28 and achieved at least a score of 5 in the High Level (HL) for the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Mathematics 

      And

      Obtained at least a score of 5 in the Standard Level (SL) for the subject of Further Mathematics.

      OR

      AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate score of 68 and obtained at least a Grade B in the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Mathematics Studies

      OR

      Equivalent qualification recognized by Senate of the University.

      AND

      Obtained at least a Grade C in SPM for the following subjects:

      • Physics
      • Additional Mathematics
