OVERVIEW
The pharmacy programme consists of core and elective courses. The elective courses provide advanced knowledge in pharmaceutical areas of special interest. The core courses offered can be divided into 6 disciplines: Physiology; Pharmacology; Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Pharmaceutical Technology; Clinical Pharmacy; Social and Administrative Pharmacy. This programme also has specialised electives for the final year students to choose from, and courses are packaged according to hospital, community or industrial stream. Additionally, the students can sign up for the option courses, which are courses in other fields such as Humanities and Social Sciences. All of these courses are intended to equip the students with the skills necessary for interacting constructively with the community and to inculcate a caring and responsible attitude towards society.

REQUIREMENTS

STPM KPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM) DIPLOMA / EQUIVALENT – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, AND OTHERS STPM:i. Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) examination with a minimum CGPA of 3.50
AND
ii. Obtain at least Grade B in the following subjects:
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Physics / Mathematics TAND
iii. Obtain at least Grade B at the SPM level in the following five (5) subjects:
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
• One (1) other subjectAND
iv. Obtain at least Band 3.0 in MUET, or Band 6.0 in IELTS, or a score of 550 in TOEFL
AND
v. Pass with at least Grade C in Bahasa Melayu and English at the SPM level
AND
vi. Excel in the interview assessment.
