  • OVERVIEW

    The Bachelor of Education (Geography) with Honors program is an educational program that integrates pedagogy and geography. The program also offers three elective core disciplines, namely Malay Linguistics, Malay Literature and History.

  • REQUIREMENTS

      • Passed SPM / SPMV / or equivalent with CREDIT in the subjects of Malay Language / Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Malaysia July and passed the subject of History.
      • Achieved at least Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent within one (1) year from the date of registration.

      Note:

      Passing the History subject at the SPM level is effective starting from the year 2013.
    • STPMKPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM)DIPLOMA / A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT,SAM & OTHERS
      STPM:

      i. Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) Examination with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.

      AND

      ii. Obtain at least Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in any two (2) of the following subjects:
      • Malay Language
      • Geography
      • History
      • Economics
      • Communicative Malay Literature
      • Literature in English
      • Mathematics M
      • Accounting
      • Business Studies

      AND

      iii. Pass Mathematics at SPM level.

      AND

      iv. Pass the MEDSI test and excel in the interview assessment.

      AND

      v. Has experience as a state or national athlete who has been actively participating for at least three (3) years

      Trained teachers are not eligible to apply for this program.
      KPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM):

       - NOT OFFERED -
      DIPLOMA / A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT,SAM & OTHERS:

      Possess a Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00

      OR

      Hold other qualifications recognized as equivalent and endorsed by the University Senate.

      Pass Mathematics at the SPM level.

      AND

      Pass the MEDSI test and excel in the interview assessment.

      AND

      vi. Has experience as a state or national athlete who has been actively participating for at least three (3) years
