  • OVERVIEW

    Biomedical Science programme is a multidisciplinary programme which provides students the opportunity to gain experiences and explore areas related to laboratory diagnosis, disease prevention and other biomedical researches. The curriculum emphasises on interactive teaching and provides workplace training and cutting-edge projects during the final year. The programme is designed to produce graduates of international standard to meet future needs of the country.

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • • Pass SPM/SPMV or an equivalent qualification with Credit in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Malaysia (July Paper) and Mathematics, and a Pass in History.
      • Obtain at least Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or an equivalent qualification within one (1) year from the date of enrollment.
      Note:
      Passing the History subject at the SPM level has been a requirement since 2013.
    • • Have at least five (5) years of continuous work experience in a relevant field related to Science or Health Sciences, such as Science Assistant Officer, Laboratory Technologist, Health Inspector, Medical Assistant, Nurse, or similar professions.
      OR
      • Have at least three (3) years of work experience in a relevant field if the recognized Diploma CGPA in the related field is below 2.75.
      AND
      • Obtain at least Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) within one (1) year from the date of registration.
      AND
      • Excel in the interview assessment.
