  • OVERVIEW

    This program offers a general social work education plan aimed at producing graduates who are well-trained in the field of human services in line with current demands. Additionally, it provides opportunities for officers from government and non-government human service organizations to enhance their knowledge and skills, enabling them to deliver more efficient human services to target groups and the broader community.

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • STPMKPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM)DIPLOMA / EQUIVALENT – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, AND OTHERS
      STPM:

      i. Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.67.

      AND

      ii. Obtain at least Grade B- (CGPA 2.67) in any two (2) of the following subjects:
      • Geography
      • History
      • Malay Language
      • Economics
      • Business Studies
      • Accounting
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • Mathematics M / Mathematics T

      AND

      iii. Excel in the interview assessment.
      KPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM):

      i. Pass the KPM Matriculation / UM Foundation / UKM Foundation / UiTM Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.67.

      AND

      ii. Obtain at least a Grade B- (2.67) in any two (2) of the following subjects:
      • Economics
      • Business Management
      • Accounting
      • Financial Accounting / Perakaunan Kewangan
      • Management Accounting / Perakaunan Pengurusan
      • Business and Technology
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Mathematics
      • Computer Science / Programming / Computing
      • Principles of Marketing
      • Fundamentals of Psychology
      • Sociology

      OR

      ii. Obtain at least a Grade B- (2.67) in three (3) subjects at the UiTM Foundation in TESL.

      AND

      iii. Excel in the interview assessment.
      DIPLOMA / EQUIVALENT – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, AND OTHERS:

      Possess a Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.67

      OR

      Pass A-Level with a minimum score of 9 and obtain at least Grade C in any two (2) of the following subjects:
      • Mathematics
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Economics
      • Literature in English
      • Psychology
      • Accounting
      • Computing
      • Further Mathematics
      • Law
      • Business Studies
      • Sociology

      OR

      Pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 26, obtaining at least Grade 4 in any two (2) subjects at the Higher Level (HL) and one (1) subject at the Standard Level (SL) from the following list:
