The Electronic Engineering Programme covers Microelectronics, Computers, Communications and Control and Automation.
Microelectronics: Includes Design and Analysis of Electronic Circuits, Digital Systems Design, Semiconductors, Electronic Devices and Circuits and various aspects of Integrated Electronics.
Computers: Includes Computer Organization, Computer Networking, Microprocessor Systems Design, Digital Signal Processing and Software Engineering.
Communications: Includes Theory of Communication Systems, Antenna and Propagation, Microwave Engineering, Radar and Satellite Communications.

REQUIREMENTS

STPM KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others STPM:i. Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
AND
ii. Obtain at least Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in the following subjects:
- Physics
- Mathematics T
KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM):i. Pass Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
AND
ii. Obtain at least Grade B (3.00) in the following subjects:
- Mathematics / Engineering Mathematics
- Physics / Engineering Physics / Engineering Science
Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others:Possess a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
And
Obtain at least a Grade B (3.00) at Diploma level in the following subjects:
- Mathematics / Engineering Mathematics
- Physics / Engineering Physics / Engineering Science
OR
Pass A-Level with a minimum score of 10 and obtain at least a Grade B in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
OR
Pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 28 and obtain at least a score of 5 at Higher Level (HL) in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
And
Obtain at least a score of 5 at Standard Level (SL) in any one (1) other subject.
OR
Pass AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate of 68 and obtain at least a Grade B in the following subjects:
