STPM KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others STPM:i. Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) Examination with a minimum CGPA 2.75ANDii. Obtain at least Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in the following subject:• Mathematics TAND any one (1) of the following subjects:• Physics• Chemistry• BiologyKPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM):i. Pass the KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75ANDii. Obtain at least a Grade B (3.00) in the following subject:• MathematicsAND any one (1) of the following subjects:• Physics / Engineering Physics• Chemistry / Engineering Chemistry• Biology• Basic Engineering / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics EngineeringDiploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others:Hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Aerospace Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 3.00ORPass A-Level with a minimum score of 10 and obtain at least Grade B in the following subjects:• Chemistry• Mathematics• PhysicsORPass the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 28 and obtain at least a score of 5 at the Higher Level (HL) in the following subjects:• Mathematics• PhysicsANDObtain at least a score of 5 at the Standard Level (SL) in Chemistry.ORPass AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate of 68 and obtain at least Grade B in the following subjects:• Chemistry• Mathematics• PhysicsORHold other qualifications recognized as equivalent and endorsed by the University Senate.
