OVERVIEW
Biomedical Science programme is a multidisciplinary programme which provides students the opportunity to gain experiences and explore areas related to laboratory diagnosis, disease prevention and other biomedical researches. The curriculum emphasises on interactive teaching and provides workplace training and cutting-edge projects during the final year. The programme is designed to produce graduates of international standard to meet future needs of the country.

REQUIREMENTS

STPM KPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM) DIPLOMA / EQUIVALENT – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, AND OTHERS STPM:i. Pass the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) Examination with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
AND
ii. Obtain at least Grade C+ (NGMP 2.33) in any two (2) of the following subjects:- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics / Mathematics T
AND
iii. Obtain at least Band 3.0 in MUET or an equivalent qualification.
KPM MATRICULATION / FOUNDATION STUDIES (UM/UKM/UiTM):i. Pass the KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
AND
ii. Obtain at least Grade C+ (2.33) in any two (2) of the following subjects:- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics / Mathematics
AND
iii. Obtain at least Band 3.0 in MUET or an equivalent qualification.
DIPLOMA / EQUIVALENT – A-LEVEL, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, AND OTHERS:Possess a Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
OR
Pass A-Level with a minimum score of 10 and obtain at least Grade C in any two (2) of the following subjects:- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics / Mathematics
OR
International Baccalaureate (IB) DiplomaPass the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a minimum total score of 24 and obtain at least a score of 4 at Higher Level (HL) in any two (2) of the following subjects:- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics / Mathematics
OR
Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) / South Australian Matriculation (SAM)Pass AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate score of 45 and obtain at least Grade C in any two (2) of the following subjects:- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics / Mathematics
OR
Possess other equivalent qualifications recognized by the university and endorsed by the University Senate.
AND
Obtain at least Band 3.0 in MUET or an equivalent English language qualification.
