Master of Science (Medical Imaging)
Master of Science (Medical Imaging) by Research Mode is a specialized program focused on advanced research in the field of medical imaging. This program is intended for individuals who want to explore and contribute to the development of medical imaging technologies and techniques used for diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
Students can choose from a wide range of research topics within Medical Imaging, including:
- Radiological Imaging: Research on techniques like X-ray, CT (Computed Tomography), and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), focusing on image acquisition, processing, and enhancement.
- Molecular Imaging: The development of new imaging modalities for visualizing biological processes at the molecular level, such as PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography).
- Medical Image Processing: Development of algorithms for processing, analyzing, and improving medical images to enhance diagnostic accuracy and reduce artifacts.
- Image Reconstruction: Research into novel methods for reconstructing high-quality images from raw data obtained from imaging devices.
- Imaging in Oncology: Research into imaging techniques for early detection, staging, and treatment planning of cancer.
- Functional Imaging: Exploration of imaging methods that monitor physiological functions, such as functional MRI (fMRI) or diffusion tensor imaging (DTI).
- 3D Imaging and Visualization: Developing advanced methods for creating and visualizing 3D models of the human body or specific organs using imaging technologies.
- Medical Robotics and Imaging: Investigating how medical imaging can be integrated with robotic surgery or other medical robotic systems.
