MSc (Medical Radiation) - School of Health Sciences
Graduate study of the Medical Radiation programme comprises fields of study of 4 main areas i.e. diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy and radiation protection. The aim of graduate study in the Medical Radiation programme is to give opportunity to graduate candidates to conduct researches in areas that could be applied clinically in health and medicine. In conclusion, graduate study in Medical Radiation covers studies that is technology-based for the need of health and medicine.

Applicants should possess the following:
A. Bachelor's degree in related area
1. CGPA of at least 3.00 / 4.00; or
2. CGPA between 2.75 - 2.99 with the following additional conditions:
- Research experience (minimum 6 month); or
- Grade A- for final year project; AND
- Subject to additional requirement(s) by the School
(Applicable for International Applicants Only)
- A minimum score of 35 in Internet-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); or
- A minimum of Band 5 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System); or
- A minimum score of 154 in Cambridge English Advance (CAE); or
- A minimum score of 154 in Cambridge Proficiency Advance (CPE); or
- A minimum score of 36 in Pearson Test of English (PTE); or
- A minimum of Band 2 in MUET (Malaysian University English Test)
Exemption can be given if:
- English is the candidate's mother tongue or National Language; or
- The candidate graduated from an Institution of Higher Learning in which the medium of instruction is English
- Full-time: Min 2 semesters / Max 6 semesters
- Part-time: Min 4 semesters / Max 12 semesters
