  • OVERVIEW

    Doctor of Philosophy (Sports Science) Research mode aims to produce graduates who are competent, skilled, ethical and professional in order to strengthen and to introduce the field of sports science to meet the needs of the country of skilled manpower in this field.

    Aims/objectives

    1. To provide opportunities for graduates from a variety of related fields to pursue the Master of Science (Sports Science)degree level.
    2. To support the production of human resources trained in health care Management.
    3. To improve the skills and competence of the Master of Science (Sports Science) through training at a higher level.

    At the end of the programme we hope that the students are capable to conduct research in critical and creative current problem solving. The research also studies apply communication skills, working in the group and be able to show the ethical and professional.   • OVERVIEW

    Biomedical science or also known as biomedicine is one of the fastest growing areas of the health care research and industry. The development of advanced diagnostic tools and new treatments for the prevention and cure of human diseases relies on the integration of knowledge from various disciplines such as microbiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, immunology, anatomy, physiology, genetics and molecular biology to improve understanding on the pathophysiology of diseases and the physiological functions of the human body.

    The Biomedicine postgraduate programme is designed to enable graduates to continue their study at a higher level by conducting research in various biomedical disciplines. The programme gives students practical background in biomedical techniques and applications while developing a strong understanding on how the human body functions in health and disease, and how treatments for disease are developed.

    This programme is offered on a full time or part time basis. The aim of this programme is to produce scientific leaders in a wide variety of settings, including academia, the private sector and in government service.

  • OVERVIEW

    Doctor of Philosophy (Forensic Science) by research are offered to produce more forensic professionals specializing in the various fields of forensic science. They also provide opportunities for lifelong learning and assist the efforts to profesionalised experts in forensic science with advance academic degrees in line with the advancement of forensic sciences and technologies as well as meeting elevated standard of forensic science services.

    To cater for the needs of the students with different undergraduate background, a wide range of forensic sciences fields including criminology, forensic drug analysis, forensic anthropology, forensic document examination, forensic fire invesitgation, DNA profiling, forensic toxicology, and phyiscal evidence are offered. In general, the study involves literature review, proposal presentation, planning and conducting experimental works, research progress presentation, preparation and submission of research articles, and finally submission of thesis for examination.
