OVERVIEW
Bachelor of Music with Honours is a 3 ½ year program offered by the School of The Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia. The programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in music to succeed in the music industry.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (ENGLISH VERSION) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (MALAY VERSION) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (ENGLISH VERSION):- Passed SPM/SPMV or equivalent with CREDIT in the subjects of Malay Language/Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Malaysia July and passed the subject of History.
- Achieved at least Band 2 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent, within one (1) year from the registration date.
Note:
Passing the History subject at the SPM level has been effective since the year 2013.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS (MALAY VERSION):-
Lulus SPM/ SPMV/ setaraf dengan mendapat KEPUJIAN dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu/ Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Malaysia Julai dan lulus dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah.

Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Band 2 dalam Malaysian University English Test (MUET) atau setaraf dalam tempoh satu (1) tahun dari tarikh mendaftar.
Nota:
Lulus mata pelajaran Sejarah di peringkat SPM berkuatkuasa mulai tahun 2013.

Passed the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00. Obtained at least a Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in the following subjects:
- General Studies
- Any two (2) other subjects
OR
Passed a MATRICULATION/DIPLOMA/PRE-UNIVERSITY/EQUIVALENT qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
AND
Have at least three (3) years of experience or work in a field related to the program applied for and recognized at the national level.
AND
Excellent performance in the interview evaluation.
SPM QUALIFICATION
Have at least five (5) years of experience or work in a field related to the program applied for and recognized at the national level.
AND
Excellent performance in the interview evaluation.

Lulus Peperiksaan Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) dengan mendapat sekurang – kurangnya PNGK 2.00. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred C (NGMP 2.00) mata pelajaran:

- Mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran lain
ATAU
Lulus MATRIKULASI/DIPLOMA/PRAUNIVERSITI/SETARAF dengan mendapat sekurangkurangnya PNGK 2.00

Mempunyai pengalaman atau bekerja sekurangkurangnya tiga (3) tahun dalam bidang berkaitan dengan program yang dipohon dan diiktiraf di peringkat kebangsaan
