  • REQUIREMENTS

    • STPMKPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM)Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others
      STPM:

      i. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

      AND

      ii. Obtained at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects.

      AND

      iii. Excellent in the interview and talent/skill assessment.

      Note:
      • Candidates must not have a visual impairment (color blindness).
      • Candidates must not have a physical disability that hinders practical work.
      • Candidates must not have visual, hearing, or speech impairments (only for the specialization in Acting & Directing [US6212002]).
      KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM):

      i. Passed Matriculation (KPM) / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM)  with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

      AND

      ii. Obtained at least a Grade C (2.00) in any two (2) subjects.

      OR

      ii. Obtained at least a Grade C (2.00) in three (3) subjects at the TESL Foundation level at UiTM.

      OR

      ii. Obtained at least a Grade C (2.00) in three (3) specialized subjects at the UiTM Law Foundation level.

      AND

      iii. Excellent in the interview and talent/skill.

      Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others:

      Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

      OR

      Passed A-Level with a minimum score of 9 and obtained at least a Grade C in any two (2) subjects.

      OR

      Passed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 26 and obtained at least a score of 4 in any two (2) High Level (HL) subjects and one (1) Standard Level (SL) subject.

      OR

      Passed AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate score of 68 and obtained at least a Grade C in any two (2) subjects.

      OR

      Possess a Creative Arts Certificate (Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Acting with good grade / honors from USM).

      OR

      Possess other qualifications and relevant experience in the field of Visual Arts (Visual Exhibition Activities, Graphic Design, Commercial Artist, Illustrator, Full-time Painter, Set Designer / Interior Designer, Craft Artist) or equivalent.

      OR

      Possess other qualifications and relevant experience in the field of Theater Arts or performance arts (TV/Film/Video Production, Stage Management, Full-time Actor, Production Studio [Production House], Direction, Dance or equivalent).

      OR

      For Educational Service Officers: Possess a Basic Teaching Certificate in the field of Art Education and a Special Teaching Certificate in the field of Art Education from Maktab Perguruan Ilmu Khas (MPIK) or possess a Special Education Diploma (KDPK) in Fine Arts.

      OR

      Possess other qualifications and relevant experience in Fine Arts (Visual Exhibition Activities, Graphic Design, Commercial Artist, Illustrator, Full-time Painter) or equivalent.

      OR

      Possess other qualifications and relevant experience in Theater Arts or performance arts (TV/Film/Video Production, Stage Management, Full-time Actor, Production Studio [Production House], Direction, Dance or equivalent).

      OR

      Equivalent qualification recognized by Senate of the University.

      AND

      Excellent in the interview and talent/skill.

      ii. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred C (NGMP 2.00) dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran.

      DAN

      iii. Cemerlang dalam penilaian temu duga dan uji bakat / kemahiran.

      • Calon tidak mempunyai ketidakupayaan penglihatan (buta warna).
      • Calon tidak mempunyai ketidakupayaan fizikal yang menyukarkan kerja-kerja amali.
