OVERVIEW

The Materials Engineering programme in the School of Materials and Mineral Resources, Universiti Sains Malaysia is a program studies the engineering materials ; metal, ceramic, composites, polymer, semiconductor, electronic and advanced materials.  These involve the science of materials (structure and properties), design and production of materials, testing and characterization techniques, material selection and quality control. It is always creation of new materials that opens the door to new technologies. Our graduates find work in Manufacturing companies, R&D sector, as well as in the Servicing companies (welding, NDT, testing).
