OVERVIEW

The Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program in USM aims to produce health care professionals of tomorrow. The program is discipline-based and integrated with balanced emphasis on basic, medical and dental sciences. During the course of the study students will also carry out elective research projects following all the required processes with the intended ooutcomes of presentations and publications of the findings. The aim is to inculcate from the beginning the culture of research. In addition, they will also go through the Community and Family Case Study which is a unique program whereby students will be exposed with hands on experience on how to carry out community health care activities. These are part of the planning to produce competent health care professionals in the form of oral pysicians and leaders of tomorrow.  

This programme requires candidate to attend an interview
