OVERVIEW

The Environmental and Occupational Health programme in the School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia is designed to nurture balanced graduates with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical experience in environmental and occupational health disciplines. We aim to produce environmental and occupational health officers who are responsible and possess high ethical standards with good soft skills through our holistic curriculum, industrial training placement and a research project. It is hoped that the graduates are able to transform knowledge to develop and sustain social well-being, with close collaboration in teaching, learning, research and community services with government agencies and other related stakeholders.
