OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Science with Education Program is an integration of the Education Studies Program with the Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Mathematics Studies Program by offering four major courses, namely Science with Education (Biology), Science with Education (Chemistry), Science with Education (Physics), and Science with Education (Mathematics). The School of Educational Studies offers educational component courses that expose students to variousdimensions and aspects of training teachers, such as the basics of education, aspects of professionalism, teaching methods as well as educational practices. While the School of Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics Studies offers pure science component courses that fulfill the core of science curriculum which covers certain broad requirements in biology/chemistry/physics/mathematics. The program aims to produce graduates with adequate preparation to face life and the nature of work as teachers in the field of education who qualify for the teaching profession.
