OVERVIEW

The Architecture Programme in the School of Housing, Building & Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia is unique among courses offering LAM Part 1 accreditation. With a broad-based interdisciplinary approach exposed to the students, it aims to produce architecture graduates who are knowledgeable, skillful and responsive to the needs of the built environment and its inhabitants. In addition to training architecture students to be competent in designing process and related skills vital for a professional architect, it also provides opportunities for students to plan and design various projects that touch on contemporary issues such as sustainability, special technologies, conservation, socio-culture and other areas of special interests.
