The Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia is a degree program accredited by the Board of Town Planners Malaysia. This professional program is designed on an interdisciplinary approach which covers an intellectual content on planning theory and philosophy, planning law as well as analytical methods, design skills and hands-on practical tools to help prepare students for the planning profession. Students will look into the local, national and global issues through the planning perspectives and address planning policy and public participation in the making of sustainable natural and built environment in the neighbourhood, city and region. The degree curriculum features planning studios, lectures, academic visits, industrial training, engagement with stakeholders and final year project that provide students with real-world planning experience.
