  • OVERVIEW

    The Building Engineering Technology program at Universiti Sains Malaysia, accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), integrates engineering, technology, and sustainable design to prepare graduates for dynamic roles in the built environment industry.   • REQUIREMENTS

    • STPMKPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM)Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others
      STPM:

      i. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.

      AND

      ii. Achieved at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in Mathematics T and any one (1) of the following subjects:

      • Chemistry
      • Physics
      • Biology

      Note:

      Candidates must not have visual impairment, hearing impairment, or physical disabilities that hinder practical work.
      KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM):

      i. Passed Matriculation (KPM) / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.

      AND

      ii. Achieved at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) of the following subjects:

      • Chemistry
      • Physics
      • Mathematics
      • Biology
      • Accounting
      • Civil Engineering
      • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
      • Mechanical Engineering

      Note:

      Candidates must not have visual impairment, hearing impairment, or physical disabilities that hinder practical work.
      Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others:

      Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.

      OR

      A-Levels with a minimum score of 10 and achieved at least a Grade B in any two (2) of the following subjects:

      • Mathematics
      • Biology
      • Further Mathematics
      • Chemistry
      • Physics

      OR

      International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 28 and obtained at least a score of 4 in any two (2) subjects at either High Level (HL) or Standard Level (SL) from the following:

      • Mathematics
      • Biology
      • Chemistry
      • Physics
      • Mathematical Studies
      • Design Technology
      • Environmental Systems & Societies

      OR

      AUSMAT/SAM with a minimum aggregate of 45 and achieved at least a Grade C in any two (2) of the following subjects:

      • Biology
      • Chemistry
      • Mathematical Studies
      • Specialist Mathematics
      • Information Technologies Studies
      • Computer Science

      OR

      Equivalent qualification recognized by Senate of the University.

    • STPMMatrikulasi KPM / Asasi UM / Asasi UKM / Asasi UiTMDiploma / Setaraf – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM dan lain-lain
      STPM:

      i. Lulus Peperiksaan Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.75

      DAN

      ii. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred C (NGMP 2.00) dalam mata pelajaran Mathematics T dan mana-mana satu (1) mata pelajaran berikut:

      • Chemistry
      • Physics
      • Biology

      Nota:

      Calon tidak mempunyai ketidakupayaan penglihatan, ketidakupayaan pendengaran dan ketidakupayaan fizikal yang menyukarkan kerja-kerja amali.
      Matrikulasi KPM / Asasi UM / Asasi UKM / Asasi UiTM:

      i. Lulus Matrikulasi KPM / Asasi UM / Asasi UKM / Asasi UiTM dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.75

      DAN

      ii. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred C (2.00) dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran berikut:

      • Chemistry
      • Physics
      • Mathematics
      • Biology
      • Accounting
      • Civil Engineering
      • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
      • Mechanical Engineering

       

      Nota:

      Calon tidak mempunyai ketidakupayaan penglihatan, ketidakupayaan pendengaran dan ketidakupayaan fizikal yang menyukarkan kerja-kerja amali.
      Diploma / Setaraf – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM dan lain-lain:

      Memiliki Diploma dalam bidang yang berkaitan dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.75

      ATAU

      Lulus A-Level dengan memperolehi minimum skor 10 dan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred B dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran berikut:

      • Mathematics
      • Biology
      • Further Mathematics
      • Chemistry
      • Physics

      ATAU

      Lulus International Baccalaureate (IB) dengan memperolehi minimum skor 28 dan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya skor 4 dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran di peringkat High Level (HL) atau Standard Level (SL) berikut:
