  • OVERVIEW

    This program is designed to develop students who are well-informed, resilient, empathetic, and capable of understanding and addressing current societal issues.
    This programme comprises of four MAJOR:
    (1) Anthropology and Sociology
    (2) Development Studies
    (3) Economics
    (4) Political Science

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • STPMKPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM)Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others
      STPM:

      i. Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.67.

      AND

      ii. Obtained at least a B- grade (CGPA 2.67) in any two (2) of the following subjects:

      • Geography
      • History
      • Malay Language
      • Economics
      • Business Studies
      • Accounting
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Chemistry
      • Mathematics M / Mathematics T
      KPM Matriculation / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM):

      i. Passed Matriculation (KPM) / Foundation Studies (UM/UKM/UiTM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.67.

      AND

      ii. Obtained at least a B- grade (2.67) in any two (2) of the following subjects:

      • Economics
      • Business Management
      • Accounting
      • Financial Accounting
      • Management Accounting
      • Business and Technology
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Mathematics
      • Computer Science / Programming / Computing

      OR

      ii. Obtained at least a B- grade (2.67) in three (3) subjects at the TESL Foundation level at UiTM.
      Diploma / Equivalent – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM, and others:

      Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.67.

      OR

      A-Level with a minimum score of 9 and obtained at least a Grade C in any two (2) of the following subjects:

      • Mathematics
      • Chemistry
      • Biology
      • Physics
      • Economics
      • Literature in English
      • Psychology
      • Accounting
      • Computing
      • Further Mathematics
      • Law
      • Business Studies
      • Sociology

      OR

      International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum score of 26 and obtained at least a score of 6 in any combination of two (2) High Level (HL) subjects and one (1) Standard Level (SL) subject from the following:

      STPM:

      i. Lulus Peperiksaan Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.67

      DAN

      ii. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred B- (NGMP 2.67 ) dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran berikut :

      i. Lulus Matrikulasi KPM / Asasi UM / Asasi UKM / Asasi UiTM dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.67

      DAN

      ii. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred B- (2.67) dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran berikut:

      ii. Mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred B- (2.67) dalam tiga (3) mata pelajaran pada peringkat Asasi TESL UiTM.

       
      Diploma / Setaraf – A-Level, IB, AUSMAT, SAM dan lain-lain:

      Memiliki Diploma dalam bidang yang berkaitan dengan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.67


      ATAU


      Lulus A-Level dengan memperolehi minimum skor 9 dan mendapat sekurang-kurangnya Gred C dalam mana-mana dua (2) mata pelajaran berikut:
